Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist
Certified Go Diaper Free Coach
Hello. My name is Carissa Clarke, owner of Scarlette Rose Placenta Encapsulation. As a natural birth "junkie", I provide alternative solutions to your birthing time worries.
As a military spouse, I move and travel quite a bit with my husband, rambunctious toddler and sweet baby girl, Ms. Scarlette Rose Marie. Something that remains constant is my true love of supporting families. I am pleased to offer our community with placenta encapsulation services.
How It All Began
My love for everything birth related began with the birth of my child in 2013. As my husband’s impending deployment and due date drew closer, I knew my postpartum experience would be a rough one. As perfect timing would have it, a local doula made the world of placenta encapsulation known to me. My husband and I decided it would be the best decision to get my placenta encapsulated so I wouldn’t have to deal with my husband leaving and the baby blues at the same time. And Wow! I felt amazing. My recovery time felt almost nonexistent, my milk came in and I had the energy I would need to move back to my home state with my newborn. Because of my positive experience, I wanted all those benefits for every postpartum woman. The only way to do that was to bring that service to my community.
Fast Forward a Bit – My Experience
With my cloth diaper experience and training, I have taught cloth diaper 101 classes and have mentored those families in the months to follow. After getting my Go Diaper Free certification, I began teaching Elimination Communication & Gentle Potty Training classes, facilitated potty training support groups, and provided private consultations. In the midst of all of this, placenta encapsulation has been something I have offered to newly postpartum women. All in all, I aim to make life more enjoyable during those first few hectic weeks after your baby comes into your life by focusing my support efforts by providing placenta encapsulation services.
My Plans For The Future
I’m a restless soul to say the least. I will be completing a Doula course soon to further my positive reach in my community. And when the timing is right, midwifery school is also on the list. All in all, who knows what else life will teach me. I’m excited to find out!
If you are in my area, I would be delighted to be a part of your special postpartum time. Through my professional yet personal approach, I am inspired to create and bring together our community’s mama tribe that will be there for each other physically and emotionally long after I move on to my family’s next military duty station. Contact me, so we can chat more about what I can do to make your postpartum a happy and healthy one.
